An original design by Leon Zhan inspired by Andy Warhol's Banana artwork, famously used for one of the most iconic album covers for rock band The Velvet Underground in 1967. The original album cover allowed fans to peel back the banana skin as a sticker, revealing the fruit of a nude-coloured banana underneath. By subtly appropriating the Nike swoosh, this iconic sneaker holds an iconic story in history for those to appreciate.
